If you thought the Lifesaver Bottle was cool, then the Slingshot is cool times 20. What makes the Slingshot so cool is that instead of just purifying water, it can extract water from any liquid that is poured into it (yes, any liquid-even the disgusting ones). In addition to producing water, it also can produce energy. It is relatively affordable (projected to cost about $2000), and is about the size of a washing machine. Not bad, if we could actually buy it. It was revealed a few years ago but has not been commercially released yet. We can hope.
